A charming house with 4 suites et 4 rooms in the heart of the Medina

Based in the historic centre of Marrakech, Dar Karma is a traditional, yet modern riad that  offers calming luxury in the historic heart of the medina ramparts of the Kasbah district – close to the Saadian tombs and the two Royal Palaces.

This century-old house belonged to the French translator of His Majesty the King Mohamed V.  Here, everything has been designed for the comfort and privacy of its guests, with the riad designed around two patios; one traditional, with orange trees around a patio fountain – the other with a pool patio and more modern aesthetic.  Both patios also have lounge areas, perfect for guests to rest and relax in.

Above the riad there is a beautiful, fully furnished private terrace, with sunbeds and shower, as well as a dining area for guests to eat breakfast and lunch with stunning views of the Medina and the Atlas Mountains.  Often punctuated by the flight of storks, the terrace provides a perfect suntrap away from the hustle and bustle of the Ochre city

After a long day discovering all the hidden treasures of the medina and souks , you can relax in the pool during Summer months or take some mint tea in the lounge with a good fire during Winter.

During your stay, you are invited to discover the most ancient rite of oriental beauty, in our hammam.

Heated 24h a day, guests are offered free access to the hammam – an integral part Moroccan living, which relaxes the muscles, releases toxins and purifies the skin.

Further treatments such as black soap scrub, ghassoul wraps, massage, manicure and pedicure with a team of professional beauticians are also available by appointment.
